Minor Injuries Sustained in Newhall Multi-Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 14
Newhall, California (May 28, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday morning in Newhall, resulting in minor injuries.
Authorities said the accident took place at about 11:06 a.m. on northbound 5 Freeway near Highway 14.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision, as per the report.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the HOV and No. 1 lanes.
The accident resulted in minor injuries to an unknown number of parties. An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer the victims medical aid.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the pileup.
