Nevada City, CA: September 10 Car Accident on Highway 49 Left 1 Injured
1 Suffers Minor Injuries in Nevada City Head-On Collision on Southbound Highway 49
Nevada City, California (September 11, 2020) – One person survived with minor injuries after a small sedan, and a big rig collided late Thursday afternoon in Nevada City.
The minor injury head-on collision occurred at about 5:28 p.m., on Highway 49, just south of Nishinam Gulch Road and near Newtown Road.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the crash occurred on the roadway’s southbound side.
Medical personnel responded to the scene and rendered aid to one unidentified victim who sustained minor injuries.
The accident resulted in the highway’s closure as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
