National City, California (September 11, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol says a motorcycle and a car were involved in a minor injury collision Wednesday afternoon in National City.
Officers received a call about the accident at about 3:30 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway near Highway 54.
A driver of a white Toyota Corolla called authorities, reporting that a motorcycle hit him in the back.
Authorities responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing to determine what factors led to the accident.
