1 Killed in Needles Crash on U.S. Highway 95
Needles, California (January 29, 2021) – One person was killed Friday morning in a traffic accident in Needles, according to a press release by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
At around 9:30 a.m., emergency personnel responded to U.S. Highway 95 N near mile marker 79 for a report of a two-vehicle collision.
Upon arrival, they determined that a semi-tractor trailer collided with a sedan on the highway.
The sedan driver, whose name has not been disclosed pending family notification, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
No other details were immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol- Needles office.
