NBA superstar Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash in the Calabasas area of California on Sunday morning.
According to a report by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lost Hills/Malibu station the 41-year-old legend and three other people were in a helicopter that crashed along a hillside in Calabasas.
The crash was reported at about 9:47 a.m. on the 4200 block of Las Virgenes Road.
A fire broke out at the scene after the crash but was later extinguished.
The authorities believe there were no survivors.
The foggy weather hampered initial rescue efforts.
Bryant played for the Los Angeles Lakers for two decades, making 18 All-Star Games before retiring in 2016.
