Mountain Pass, CA: Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15
1 Killed, Several Injured in Mountain Pass Car Accident on Interstate 15 near Bailey and Cima Roads
Mountain Pass, California (July 24, 2020) – One person was killed and several others injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon in Mountain Pass, authorities said.
The crash happened at around 2:45 p.m. on Interstate 15 between Bailey and Cima Roads, about 20 miles from Primm.
As per the CHP report, several vehicles were involved in the accident. The manner at which the crash occurred is yet to be established.
As a result of the collision, a white pickup truck overturned onto the shoulder, and a second vehicle flipped over and landed in the center shoulder.
Several victims were reportedly ejected from their vehicles.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
One other victim was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Three or four parties were also taken to area hospitals by ground ambulances in unknown conditions.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
