Mount Shasta, California (January 13, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a traffic collision Sunday morning in the area of Mount Shasta, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 10:45 a.m. Sunday on 5 Freeway near Siskiyou Avenue (Dunsmuir).
As per the CHP officials, a tan Toyota Tundra and a big rig crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition remained unknown.
One of the cars sustained a front-end damage after the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
