Mount Hope Pedestrian Accident on Market Street near Interstate 805 Results in Serious Injuries

Mount Hope, California (October 20, 2020) – A pedestrian accident that took place on a street in Mount Hope, Monday night, resulted in serious injuries, according to a report by the San Diego Police Department.
The major injury pedestrian accident occurred on Market Street near Interstate 805 at about 7:40 p.m. October 19.
As per the report, a 2001 Ford F-150 driven by a 58-year-old man, westbound on Market Street, reportedly struck a 43-year-old male pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
Meanwhile, the Ford operator remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.
Major Injury Mount Hope Pedestrian Accident on Market Street
Paramedics responded to the crash site and attended to the pedestrian who sustained internal bleeding, a fractured left femur and a fractured ankle following the mishap.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the crash. The accident remains under active investigation.
