Rider Dies in Corona Motorcycle Accident on 91 Freeway near 71 Freeway
Corona, California (September 20, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on the 91 Freeway in Corona Friday afternoon, according to a local news report.
The tragic crash, which was reported just before 5:00 p.m., happened in the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway, just west of the 71 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident log, the motorcyclist was possibly hit by a passing vehicle in the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway.
The rider died in the crash. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
There were no details provided about the involved driver. The right lane was shut down as the officers investigated the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
