Man Injured in Shell Beach Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101 near Avila Beach Drive
Shell Beach, California (March 24, 2021) – One person was injured in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident near Shell Beach in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 101 near Avila Beach Drive at about 6 p.m.
A Pismo Beach man in his 60s was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he was hit by a car.
The man sustained leg and head injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car fled the scene after the accident and was yet to be located.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
