29-Year-Old Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Fresno Crash on West Clinton Avenue and North Fruit Avenue

Fresno, California (February 5, 2021) – A 29-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured in a traffic accident on Wednesday afternoon in Fresno, authorities said.
The major injury accident occurred at about 3:00 p.m., on February 3, at the intersection of West Clinton Avenue and North Fruit Avenue.
According to the police, a Chevy Minivan driver failed to stop for a red light on Fruit Avenue for undetermined reasons.
Unfortunately, a motorcycle that was traveling westbound on Clinton Avenue couldn’t stop in time to avoid broadsiding the van, the officials said.

The motorcyclist was critically injured and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The driver in the minivan and two children inside were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
