Minor Injuries Sustained after Moorpark Accident on 5 Freeway near Highway 118

Moorpark, California (March 17, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in the area of Moorpark, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 3:28 a.m. Sunday, on northbound 5 Freeway, just north of Highway 118.
As per the officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. One female party was reportedly out of a vehicle and was bleeding as a result of the collision. The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.
Authorities blocked northbound 5 Freeway following the collision. The roadway was cleared as of 5:00 a.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
