Jamestown, California (March 15, 2021) – A 40-year-old Modesto man was killed in a Saturday evening motorcycle accident in Jamestown, authorities said.

The deadly motorcycle accident occurred at about 5:00 p.m., on March 13, on Bonds Flat Road near Blue Oak Recreation Area on Don Pedro Reservoir.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the Modesto man was riding a 2006 Suzuki eastbound on Bonds Flat Road. He allowed his motorcycle to go onto the southbound shoulder and struck a guardrail.

Sadly, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Intoxication was suspected of having played a role in the collision, the officials said.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
