Man Seriously Injured in Modesto Pedestrian Accident at McHenry Avenue and Frances Avenue
Modesto, California (January 28, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle late Tuesday night in Modesto, according to a local news source.
The major injury pedestrian accident happened at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, at the intersection of McHenry Avenue and Frances Avenue.
Authorities said the pedestrian, a 60-year-old Modesto man, was struck by a southbound 2015 Honda Civic while walking across the street eastbound.

The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The name and current condition of the victim were not disclosed.
The driver, Abdulwahab Alsumairi, 33, of Modesto, and his passenger were unhurt.
Speed, alcohol, or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
