Injuries Reported in Modesto Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Sperry Avenue
Modesto, California (January 31, 2021) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Modesto early Saturday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Sperry Avenue at about 2:43 a.m.
A black Subaru and at least three other vehicles were involved in the collision. However, the manner in which the accident happened was yet to be established.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
