Man Killed in Modesto Motorcycle Accident at Sisk Road and Whitcomb Way
Modesto, California (July 21, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday afternoon in a collision with a pickup truck at an intersection in Modesto, according to the authorities.
The fatal crash occurred at around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at the intersection of Sisk Road and Whitcomb Way, just north of the Carpenter Road exit off of Highway 99.
Authorities said a man was riding his motorcycle northbound on Sisk Road towards Whitcomb Way when he collided with a Dodge Ram that was turning onto southbound Sisk Road from Whitcomb Way.
Motorcyclist Dies in Modesto Crash with Pickup
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The crash caused the closure of Sisk Road as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The Modesto Police Department is investigating the incident.
