Pickup Truck Driver Killed in Anaheim Hills Collision on Riverside (91) Freeway near Imperial Highway Overpass
Anaheim Hills, California (July 21, 2021) – A pickup truck driver was killed Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident in Anaheim Hills, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened at around 3:45 p.m. on the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway, just south of the Imperial Highway overpass.
The CHP said a white Ford F-150 was trying to bypass traffic by traveling on the westbound right shoulder when it collided with a Ford Mustang.
Deadly 91 Freeway Accident in Anaheim Hills
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated the pickup truck driver from the wreckage. Sadly, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
