Rider Injured in Modesto Motorcycle Accident at Highway 108 and Saint Francis Avenue
Modesto, California (March 20, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hit and injured by a hit-and-run motorist Friday afternoon at a Modesto intersection, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident happened at around 1:49 p.m. Friday, March 15 at the intersection of Highway 108 and Saint Francis Avenue, near Nor Cal Performance Golf Center.
According to the CHP, the motorcyclist was struck by a possibly a 4-door Nissan Maxima at the intersection.

Emergency responders rendered aid the rider who was left in the roadway with minor injuries after the crash. The name of the motorcyclist and their condition at this time remained unknown.
The driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. The suspect driver was later located but the passenger reportedly leg-bailed.
The crash remains under investigation.
