Minor Injuries Reported After Modesto 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 near Carpenter Road
Modesto, California (August 13, 2020) – A traffic collision that took place in the area of Modesto, Thursday morning, resulted in minor injuries to an unspecified number of victims.
Officials said two or three vehicles crashed at about 7:30 a.m. on Highway 99 at the North Carpenter Road off-ramp.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a gray Ford Focus acquired front-end damage after it slammed into the rear of a gray Chevrolet Cruz along the highway for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact of the collision, the Chevrolet acquired rear-end damage.
The mishap may have involved a third vehicle of unspecified make and built.
Modesto Car Accident on Highway 99 near Carpenter Road
Minor injuries were reported after the wreck.
The crash resulted in the highway’s closure to up to around 8:47 a.m. as investigation and clean-up took place.
Officials requested tow trucks to remove both vehicles away from the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
