At Least 1 Injured in Mission Viejo Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Crown Valley Parkway
Mission Viejo, California (September 24, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning in Mission Viejo, involving an Orange County Transportation Authority bus.
Officers responded to southbound 5 Freeway, just north of Crown Valley Parkway, where the vehicles had collided just before noon.

A small OCTA bus, a white 4-door Ford F-150 pickup truck, and three other vehicles were involved in the accident.
It was not clear if the bus had passengers at the time of the crash.
A party reporting the accident, and who was involved, said they sustained an injury to their eye.
The CHP report did not mention how many other parties were injured but only said the crash resulted in minor injuries.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
