Brad Berman and Michael Boyce Hospitalized after Fairfield Fatal Crash on Highway 12 at Beck Avenue
Fairfield, California (April 25, 2021) – 22-year-old Brad Berman, of Vacaville, and Michael Boyce, 67, of Suisun City, has been identified as the two motorists who were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision Thursday evening in Fairfield.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the fatal crash site shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Highway 12 at Beck Avenue.
The collision happened when a Dodge 2500 pickup operated by 35-year-old Michael Solis west on Highway 12 failed to stop on traffic at Beck Avenue for undetermined reasons.
Solis, a Vallejo resident, then rear-ended a Chevrolet Camaro driven by 24-year-old Diego Morales on April 22. In the process, the Camaro hit two other vehicles while the Dodge pickup also struck two other automobiles after.
Morales, of Vallejo, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Berman, Boyce, Solis, and two other drivers sustained minor injuries following the accident.
Brad was rushed to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center while Michael Boyce was hospitalized at NorthBay Medical Center after the wreck.
Meanwhile, intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
