Ogbonnaya Onumah and Carlos Reyes Injured in Fairfield Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 12 at Beck Avenue
Fairfield, California (April 25, 2021) – Two of five drivers hurt in a car crash in Fairfield, Thursday evening has been identified as 42-year-old Carlos Reyes, of Suisun City and Ogbonnaya Onumah, 49, of Fairfield.
The California Highway Patrol said the multi-vehicle collision occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Highway 12 at Beck Avenue.
As per the report, a Dodge 2500 pickup driven by 35-year-old Michael Solis, west on Highway 12, failed to stop on traffic at Beck Avenue for undetermined reasons.
Solis, a Vallejo resident, slammed into the back of a Chevrolet Camaro operated by 24-year-old Diego Morales on April 22. Due to the impact, the Camaro struck two other vehicles while the Dodge pickup also hit two other automobiles in the process.
5 Injured in Fairfield Fatal Car Accident
Morales, of Vallejo, was declared deceased at the scene.
A total of five people, including Reyes and Onumah, sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The CHP did not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the wreck.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
