Bicyclist Killed in Merced County Crash at Utah Street and Bellevue Road
Merced County, California (July 13, 2021) – A bicyclist was killed Monday night in a traffic crash at an intersection in Merced County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The fatal crash occurred shortly before 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, at the intersection of Utah Street and Bellevue Road, approximately two miles from El Capitan High School.
According to the CHP, a vehicle collided with the bicyclist for unknown reasons at the intersection.
Fatal Bicycle Accident in Merced County
The bicycle rider, whose name has not been disclosed pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene.
