Man Arrested after Menifee Stolen Truck Crash at Stillwater Drive and Antelope Road
Menifee, California (January 17, 2019) – A man was arrested after a pursuit ended into a crash Wednesday afternoon in the area of Menifee, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, at Stillwater Drive and Antelope Road.
As per the report, officials were alerted about a man driving a stolen truck in Menifee. They spotted the man driving on Durham Drive and attempted to pull him over but the man drove away.
Authorities pursued him and he crashed into another car in front of the Menifee Town Center.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. It remained unclear if he was treated at the scene or was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities said that the suspect was hospitalized after a sheriff’s K-9 bit him.
An investigation is ongoing.
