At Least 1 Injured in Humboldt Car Crash on Highway 255 and New Navy Base Road

Humboldt County, California (January 17, 2019) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Humboldt County on Wednesday evening, according to the CHP.
The wreck happened around 6:30 p.m. January 16 near Highway 255 and New Navy Base Road.
CHP said a Chevrolet Aveo and another vehicle were involved. The circumstances that led to the accident were not immediately established.
The Aveo was left with major front-end damage.
At least one person sustained minor injuries and was treated by the responding paramedics.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
