Menifee Car Accident at Menifee and Matthews Roads Results in Major Injuries
Menifee, California (November 5, 2020) – Two people were injured following a two-vehicle collision Wednesday evening at an intersection in Menifee, according to a report by the Riverside County Fire Department officers.
The major injury accident happened in the area of Menifee and Matthews roads at around 6:45 p.m.
The mishap involved two vehicles that crashed at the Menifee intersection, near Highway 74, for undetermined reasons.
Due to the impact, at least one person was trapped in one of the involved automobiles and had to be extricated by paramedics.
Major Injury Menifee Car Crash Wednesday Evening
Two unidentified victims were hospitalized following the mishap. Officials said one of the patients sustained major injuries while the other was treated for moderate injuries.
The accident remains under active investigation.
