Mendocino County, CA: Possible Injuries Sustained in Head-On Collision on Fort Bragg – Willits Road

Mendocino County, California (December 31, 2020) – Possible injuries were reported Thursday morning following a two-vehicle crash in Mendocino County.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at about 11:15 a.m. on Highway 20 (Fort Bragg – Willits Road).

The accident involved a tan Chevrolet full-size van and a white Chevrolet Tahoe SUV that crashed along the highway’s westbound side in the morning hours.

Officials said one of the involved automobiles, which was heading eastbound on the roadway, swerved off into the lane of the other in the westbound lanes prior to the collision.

Meanwhile, a third automobile may have also involved in the mishap.

CHP Investigating Mendocino County 2-Vehicle Accident

All involved parties were attended to by medical personnel who responded to the scene shortly after 11:15 a.m.

Officials requested tow trucks to remove both vehicles away from the crash site.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
