5 Injured, 2 Seriously in Mead Valley Crash at Harvill Avenue and Rider Street
Mead Valley, California (December 14, 2020) – Five people were injured, two seriously, in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon in Mead Valley, authorities said.
The major injury accident transpired at about 12:49 p.m., on December 13, at the intersection of Harvill Avenue and Rider Street, just off Interstate 215.
According to the CHP, two vehicles collided at the intersection for undetermined reasons.
As a result of the collision, two people were trapped in their vehicles and were extricated by the first responders, the CHP said.
5 Injured in Crash at Harvill Avenue and Rider Street
A total of five people were injured in the accident. Two sustained major injuries while the other three suffered minor injuries. They were all hospitalized for treatment.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
