La Mesa, CA: Major Injury 4-Vehicle Crash on State Route 94
1 Seriously Injured in La Mesa Accident on State Route 94 at Massachusetts Avenue
La Mesa, California (December 13, 2020) – One person was seriously injured Saturday night in a multi-vehicle crash at an intersection in La Mesa, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened just before 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, on State Route 94 at Massachusetts Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, a pickup truck crashed into a white Kia in the westbound lanes of State Route 94 at Massachusetts Avenue. Two other vehicles became involved in the collision.
The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles involved to overturn. Witnesses told the authorities that one driver was speeding and possibly overcorrected, resulting in the crash.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the one person who sustained major injuries in the crash.
The patient was then transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The name and condition of the victim at this time remained undisclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
