Mary Hewett Killed in Rollover Crash at Highway 395 and China Lake Road in Ridgecrest
Ridgecrest, California (March 29, 2021) – 75-year-old Mary Keith Hewett has been identified by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office as the woman who was killed in a car crash in Ridgecrest on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened at about 1:15 p.m. March 27, on Highway 395 at China Lake Road.
Hewett, a Norco resident, was driving a vehicle when she veered off the roadway and rolled several times.

Hewett was transported to Ridgecrest Regional Medical Center where she died while undergoing treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
