Marques Rodriquez Killed in Modesto Car Accident on Highway 99
Modesto, California (January 8, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of the second person who was killed in a car accident that occurred in Modesto on Saturday, December 22.
The victim was identified as 32-year-old Marques A. Rodriguez.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred on Highway 99 at an unspecified time early that morning.
As per the report, Rodriquez was driving a 2004 GMC Yukon northbound in the southbound lanes of the roadway when he struck a 1997 Toyota before colliding head-on with a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 24-year-old Terilyn Peralta.
Both the Tahoe and the Yukon caught fire after the collision.
Peralta, Rodriquez and his 5-month-old daughter were killed in the collision.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
