Carson Hit-and-Run Collision near Chico and Dominguez Streets Left 27-Year-Old Mario Nunez Dead
Carson, California (October 12, 2020) – 27-year-old Mario Nunez has been identified as the bicyclist who died following a suspected hit-and-run collision late last month in Carson.
The fatal bicycle accident took place near Chico and Dominguez streets at about 6:17 a.m. on September 26.
A vehicle of unspecified make and built struck Nunez while riding a bicycle, near the Carson intersection, in unclear circumstances.
Due to the impact, Nunez was ejected from the bike. The involved motorist left Nunez laying in the highway and escaped the scene.

Sadly, Nunez was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
