Maria Rosaha De Castro Mariano Critically Hurt in Vacaville Motorcycle Crash on Westbound 80 Freeway
Vacaville, California (September 9, 2019) – 60-year-old Maria Rosaha De Castro Mariano was seriously injured in a traffic crash in the area of Vacaville on Friday afternoon.
The collision was reported at around 1:12 p.m. September 6, along the 80 Freeway, near the Leisure Town Road off-ramp.
A California Highway patrol report showed that a blue 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle ridden by De Castro Mariano and a white Chevrolet Silverado collided in the westbound lane of the highway for an unknown reason. Due to the impact, the pickup truck slammed into the center divider after the collision.
Motorcycle and Car Accident on 80 Freeway Near Leisure Town
De Castro Mariano sustained severe injuries in the crash. De Castro Mariano was then rushed to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center for treatment.
It was not mentioned whether or not the driver of the Chevrolet stopped after the crash and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.
The investigation is underway.
