Fresno, California (August 3, 2019) – 20-year-old Maria Martinez Ramirez has been identified as the female victim killed in a traffic collision in Fresno on Friday evening.
The fatal collision was reported in the evening hours. August 2, on Highway 41.
The accident happened when Ramirez, who was traveling on the two-lane highway, collided head-on with a vehicle occupied by a family of four. The initial report indicated that Ramirez tried to pass a vehicle legally at the time of the collision.
Consequently, a female witness reportedly pulled over near the crash scene. The female party then walked across the road to help the victims of the wreck. A passing vehicle, unfortunately, hit the Good Samaritan when she stepped into the traffic lanes.
