Sacramento County, California (June 9, 2021) – The Sacramento woman who died following a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Sacramento Saturday morning has been identified as 47-year-old Maria Rodriguez Benitez.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the fatal crash site at approximately 5:20 a.m. in the area of Florin Road and Watt Avenues.

As per the report, a tan Toyota Camry crashed with a black Toyota Corolla at the intersection near the United States Postal Service for undetermined reasons.

Rodriguez Benitez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash resulted in the closure of the intersection for an unknown time.
