Marcus Dixon ID’d as Man killed in Lancaster Motorcycle Crash on 15th Street and Avenue I

Lancaster, California (May 21, 2019) – Police officers have identified the man who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday morning in Lancaster, as Marcus Dixon, 33, of Lancaster.
The crash was reported at about 1:30 a.m. May 19, on 15th Street East and Avenue I.
The California Highway Patrol said Dixon was traveling westbound on Avenue I when a motorist in a pickup truck made a left turn in front of him as he approached 15th Street East. The motorcycle and the vehicle collided.
Dixon was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The woman who came to help Dixon was struck by another vehicle and was taken to hospital with significant injuries.
The identity of the woman was not released.
The crash is still under investigation.
