Man Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Goldenwest Street near Oxford Drive in Huntington Beach ID’d as Jacob Conroy
Jacob Conroy Fatal Huntington Beach Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Goldenwest Street
Huntington Beach, California (January 25, 2021) – A male party was struck and killed by a suspected hit-and-run driver Sunday night in Huntington Beach has been identified by the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner as 29-year-old Jacob Conroy.
The deadly crash took place on Goldenwest Street, near Oxford Drive, at approximately 7:15 p.m.
A black SUV reportedly hit Conroy while crossing Goldenwest Street on January 24 under unclear circumstances.
The SUV driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
Jacob Conroy Killed in Huntington Beach Accident Sunday Night
Sadly, Conroy died at the scene after being struck by a second vehicle.
Meanwhile, the second operator remained at the crash site and cooperated with the law.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
