Man Killed in Healdsburg Car Crash on Highway 101
Healdsburg, California (April 12, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Healdsburg on Saturday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 101 near 12:04 a.m.
A Jeep Cherokee was traveling in the left lane of the highway when it struck a man who was standing in the left lane.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Jeep, who has since been identified as a 16-year-old girl, told the police that she turned but was unable to avoid the collision.
The driver and her two passengers were unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
