76-Year-Old Male Motorcyclist Killed in Stonyford Crash on County Road 306 near Black Diamond Road

Stonyford, California (March 1, 2021) – A 76-year-old Motorcyclist was killed in a Sunday afternoon traffic accident in Stonyford, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m., on February 28, on County Road 306 near Black Diamond Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was headed northbound on the roadway he drifted off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
As a result of the crash impact, the motorcycle overturned and the rider was ejected from the motorcycle.

Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
