43-Year-Old Temecula Man Killed in Murrieta Crash on Interstate 215 near Clinton Keith Road

Murrieta, California (March 16, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Monday morning rollover accident that killed a 43-year-old man in Murrieta.
The deadly accident happened at about 12:45 a.m., on March 15, on Interstate 215, just north of Clinton Keith Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving his 2012 Volkswagen Jetta southbound on Interstate 215 in the slow lane when he abruptly turned into the adjacent traffic lane and collided with a Ford F-150 pickup.
Following the collision, the Jetta veered back to the right, onto the shoulder, where it struck a light pole and rolled over. The vehicle landed on its wheels within the dirt shoulder area.

Sadly, the man was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, where he was later pronounced dead.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
