1 Injured in Carpinteria Car Crash on Highway 101 near Bates Road
Carpinteria, California (March 16, 2021) – One person was injured in a rollover collision in Carpinteria on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on Highway 101 near Bates Road at about 4:20.m.
A vehicle was traveling southbound on Highway 101 when it left the roadway and rolled down an embankment.
The Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Units who responded to the incident said the driver was able to self-extricate from the vehicle.
The driver, a man in his 20s, was treated for minor injuries before being transported to Cottage Hospital for treatment.
