Pacific Palisades, California (November 23, 2020) – A man was killed and four other people were injured early Saturday morning in a traffic accident in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood, according to a local news source.4

The deadly crash happened at around 3:38 a.m. Saturday, November 21, in the 17800 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

Authorities said a vehicle was heading southbound on Pacific Coast Highway when, for an unknown reason, it veered off the roadway and slammed into two parked cars.

A man who was sitting in one of the parked vehicles was declared at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of family.

Three people sustained critical injuries and another person suffered minor injuries. All the patients were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The northbound and southbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway, from Sunset Boulevard to Coastline Drive, were closed for more than two hours.
