Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Lexington Avenue at Vermont Avenue in East Hollywood
East Hollywood, California (May 1, 2021) – A 78-year-old man was seriously injured after being struck by a car in East Hollywood on Friday morning.
The pedestrian accident happened at about 7:35 a.m. April 30, on Lexington Avenue at Vermont Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was crossing a street when he was hit by a car, possibly a dark-colored Mazda CX-7.
The unidentified man was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
The motorist fled the scene of the accident and was yet to be located.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
