23-Year-Old Man Killed in Los Angeles Pedestrian Crash on Harbor Freeway near Santa Monica Freeway

Los Angeles, California (January 23, 2021) – A 23-year-old man from Long Beach was hit and killed by a vehicle on Saturday morning in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 1:55 a.m. Harbor (110) Freeway, south of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.
The officials said the male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the freeway for undetermined reasons.
First responders reportedly arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian lying within the northbound freeway’s center median.

Sadly, the 23-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver stopped and parked his 2020 Toyota, temporarily blocking the number one lane of traffic. He sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
