Man Airlifted after Santa Maria Collision at Betteravia Road and Rosemary Road in Santa Maria
Santa Maria, California (February 13, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday morning rollover accident that left a man seriously injured in Santa Barbara.
The single-vehicle accident happened near the intersection of Betteravia and Rosemary roads at about 9:15 a.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a small SUV driven by the man was traveling at a high rate of speed when it flipped over and landed on its wheels at the edge of a farm field.
Following the collision, the male driver was trapped inside the vehicle and was extricated by the first responders. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The man was critically injured and was flown to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
