Malachi Hussain Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 121 in Sonoma County
Malachi Hussain ID’d as Man Killed in Sonoma County Car Accident on Highway 121 near Napa Road

Sonoma County, California (January 18, 2019) – The man who was killed Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident in unincorporated Sonoma County has been identified as Malachi Hussain, 25, of Livermore, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly collision happened at about 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, January 16 on state Highway 121, just north of Napa Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2014 Nissan driven by Hussain, was traveling southbound on state Highway 121 at an unsafe speed during heavy rain when Hussain lost control of the Nissan.
The Nissan then crossed solid double yellow lines directly into the path of a 1996 Dodge truck driven by a Fairfield man, which was traveling northbound.
Hussain was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the Dodge was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.
According to the CHP, two passengers in the truck were uninjured. The occupants of both vehicles were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
It was undetermined if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
