Man Killed in Fatal Madera County Crash on Highway 145 near Avenue 37
Madera County, California (February 7, 2020) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday morning in Madera County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. on Highway 145 near Avenue 37.
CHP said a man was standing in the road when he was struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported to Valley Children’s Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.The victim was not immediately identified.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene after the collision.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
