Madera County, California (June 4, 2021) – A Madera County accident involving three vehicles Thursday night resulted in minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the hit-and-run crash site at around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Highway 145 and Avenue 12.
It was not immediately established how a black Toyota Camry, a black pickup truck, and a silver Hyundai Elantra crashed at the intersection.
Due to the impact, the pickup acquired major front-end damage while the Hyundai Elantra had major rear-end damage.
The crash left one unidentified person with minor injuries.
Officials affirmed one of the motorists escaped the scene eastbound on Avenue 12 after the collision.
The accident resulted in the closure of the intersection for an unknown time.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
