Bakersfield, California (June 4, 2021) A Bakersfield accident that happened early Thursday morning seriously injured a pedestrian.

The minor injury crash took place in the area of Niles Street and Mt Vernon Avenue near the East Bakersfield High School at approximately 2:20 a.m.

As per the California Highway Patrol report, an individual was struck by a vehicle at the Bakersfield intersection under unclear circumstances.
