3 Injured in Los Gatos Crash on Highway 9 (Big Basin Way) near Saratoga Toll Road
Los Gatos, California (March 16, 2019) – Three people were injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Los Gatos, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 10:22 a.m. Friday, March 15, the CHP officers received a report regarding the collision involving two vehicles on Highway 9 near Saratoga Toll Road.
The vehicles involved were described as a gray Toyota Tundra and a small white pickup truck.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found at least three people who sustained injuries as a result of the crash. One of the patients was airlifted to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center with major injuries.
Two-Car Accident on Big Basin Way in Los Gatos
Another victim complained of pain to the chest, left shoulder and wrist while another complained of head and neck pain. One was taken to Stanford University Medical Center and the other was taken to an unknown hospital for further treatment.
The names of the patients and their condition at this time remained unknown.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation by police.
